POLARIS Luncheon: Economic Transformation through Innovation

Event Date: 20 September 2017

Join us to hear South Australia’s Chief Innovator, Dr Tom Hajdu, deliver an address highlighting the importance of innovation in economic transformation.

Tom was appointed as the State’s Chief Innovator in March 2017, responsible for the innovation strategy for the South Australian economy. His appointment followed his key role in helping to establish GigCity Adelaide, which brought super-fast internet to 14 innovation precincts.

Away from his role as Chief Innovator, Tom is CEO of Disrupter, his US-based strategic innovation company, and cofounder of tomandandy, a US music production company that used technology to revolutionise the way music was produced and used across film, television and advertising industries.

He has sat on a number of award juries and has spoken at a number of forums including the original TED Conference, CalTech/MIT Forum, DisruptSydney, Pepperdine University’s first Disruption Conference, as well as universities worldwide about strategic innovation.
