Terms & Conditions

  1. Application
    1. These Terms and Conditions apply to Northern Economic Leaders memberships subscriptions.
  2. Duration of Membership
    1. Membership of Northern Economic Leaders is subject to the payment of subscription fees and/or annual membership or subscription fees for a period of 12 months unless otherwise notified. Each renewal of membership is for a further period of 12 months unless otherwise notified.
  3. Membership Subscription Fees
    1. Membership fees for the first year (2017/18) will be a flat rate of $55 (including GST) as an introductory offer.
    2. You agree to pay the amount due and payable on any membership fee invoice or amended renewal notice within 14 days of such notice.
    3. Membership subscription fees are not refundable
    4. Membership fees or subscription fees will be reviewed annually and may be subject to increase at Northern Economic Leaders’ discretion. You will be given written notice of any change to the membership or subscription fees at least 14 days prior to date for renewal. You are deemed to have accepted such change unless you give written notice of cancellation of your membership within 14 days of notice of the change to the membership or subscription fees.
  4. Renewal, suspension and cancellation of membership services
    1. At the start of the month prior to the cessation of your existing membership subscription period, you will be informed via e-mail that your current subscription period will be coming to an end and an invoice will be soon issued for the following membership subscription period.
    2.  If you do not wish to renew your membership subscription, you are required to provide Northern Economic Leaders a written notice of resignation of membership prior to the expiry of your current membership subscription and/or prior to the due date of your membership subscription renewal invoice. The failure to provide a written notice to cancel your membership prior to the expiration of your current Northern Economic Leaders membership subscription period will result in the automatic renewal of your membership subscription for the following 12 months including liability to pay for that subscription period.

  5. Fair use of information and advice
    1. You agree that any information or advice provided to you by Northern Economic Leaders is provided for the use of the member only unless otherwise agreed. You agree not to use the information or advice for commercial resale or gain. You agree not to provide such information or advice to any third party for the use or benefit of the third party.
    2. You agree not to use your access to Northern Economic Leaders’ information and advice to obtain information or advice for the use of a third party (including any subsidiaries or related companies that are not members Northern Economic Leaders ).
    3. In the event the information or advice provided to you by Northern Economic Leaders is provided to any third party, Northern Economic Leaders reserves the right to suspend or cancel the provision of further services to you until such time as it is satisfied that you have ceased to do so. No refund of any membership fee paid will be due. Any unpaid membership fee will remain due and payable as a debt due to Northern Economic Leaders.
  6. Disclaimers
    1. Northern Economic Leaders is not liable for any loss or damage caused to a member due to the non-provision of membership services to the member as a result of the suspension or cancellation of such services to the member or as a result of Northern Economic Leaders changing the services it provides or no longer offering services in the exercise of its discretion.
    2. Information provided by Northern Economic Leaders and its employees, officers and agents is of a general nature only and is not legal, accounting or other professional advice. While all reasonable endeavours are made to ensure the accuracy of information provided, Northern Economic Leaders accepts no liability for any action, or decision not to act, taken by you on the basis of the information provided to you, or for any error in or omission in the information provided by Northern Economic Leaders, or any loss or damage caused to you or any other person whether a member of Northern Economic Leaders or not, as a result of information provided by Northern Economic Leaders being inaccurate.
    3. Without limiting these above disclaimers, no responsibility or liability is accepted by Northern Economic Leaders for any losses incurred in contract, tort, negligence, or any other cause of action, or any liability for any loss of profit, loss of opportunity, loss of revenue, loss of data, loss from computer viruses or any indirect or consequential loss.
    4. Northern Economic Leaders urges you to obtain advice from an appropriately qualified professional before acting, or deciding not to act, on the basis of the information or advice provided by Northern Economic Leaders, its employees, officers and agents
  7. Changes to Business SA’s Terms & Conditions
    1. You agree that Northern Economic Leaders may change these terms and conditions at any time. Northern Economic Leaders agrees to publish any change to its terms and conditions on its website. Northern Economic Leaders’ terms and conditions as published on its website apply until the date of any change to the terms and conditions published on the Northern Economic Leaders website.
  8. Notices
    1. You agree that Northern Economic Leaders may communicate with you by e-mail any notices regarding your membership, membership fees, renewal or Northern Economic Leaders services using the e-mail address you have provided us at the time of joining or renewal of your Northern Economic Leaders membership
  9. Privacy
