It is vitally important for the disability sector to have strong leadership skills as we move towards the full implementation of the National Disability Insurance Scheme.
To achieve the leadership skills the sector needs, the Department of State Development would like to support members of your board to participate in the Governance Foundations for Not-For-Profit Directors course, through the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
The Department will be providing a 50% subsidy for up to 20 disability service provider board members in South Australia without an existing board qualification to complete the course early next year:
Date: Thursday 22 and Friday 23 February 2018
Time: Day 1: 9.00am – 4.30pm
Day 2: 9.00am – 12.30pm
Cost: $1,090 (50% of this amount covered by Dept of State Development subsidy; participant to cover remaining $545).
